Tyler Dewitt is a Southwest Missouri native and recently returned to Neosho to go back into the home-building business. It didn’t take him long to realize it was a good decision.
“This particular house we built, it started as a speck house. The first person that looked at it that had a lot of interest in it and signed off on it,” says Dewitt.
It’s one of several new homes going up on Hale McGinty Drive west of the Neosho Golf Course. The new homes are a great choice for parents with school aged children. They’re not far from the middle school, or Carver Elementary, and, soon, the new junior high building, which will be ready at the begining of the next school year.
“This is the best area with both the new schools, all three of the schools are going to be out here. Nice neighborhoods and a lot of interest in this area,” says Dewitt.
Steve Kenny has been in real estate in Neosho for 17 years and says this is the best the local housing market has been in several years.
“We have a new Foreign Trade Zone that just got announced that is just incredibly good. We have a Transportation Development District (TDD) that is on the move right now, and we’re just poised for such great things in the future,” says Kenny of Carol Jones Realtors.
