Neosho Boulevard Continues to see Growth

Neosho, Mo- The C.E.O. with grow Neosho says the city’s most recent report shows that sales tax was up 12.4-percent from the previous year.

Some of the success is from businesses, restaurants, and retail stores moving to the Boulevard from a different location. It also helps having the high school and other older places on the street keeping the consistency of customers.

MoJoe’s coffee has been on the boulevard for a year, and has stayed consistently busy

Diane Kunke, co-owner of MoJoe’s says “We have been very successful we feel like. I think it was a nice thing Neosho to have. Being on the Boulevard is great, there’s a lot of traffic going on and then there’s that many more people coming down Boulevard.”

MoJoe’s Coffee is expanding its services with a new tea room and bakery just behind the building.  The Owners hope this will target those who don’t like coffee, providing them a place to enjoy a tasty treat.

Construction on other businesses is almost complete, including a renovated McDonalds, which will open next week. Also,  ALDI, which is planned to be open Mid-October.  City leaders say there’s also the possibility of more business moving to the area, though there’s no definite plans right now.
