Neosho Area Economic Development — an arm of the Neosho Area Business & Industrial Foundation, founded in 1987.
Neosho Area Economic Development, also known as Grow Neosho, is an arm of Neosho Area Business & Industrial Foundation, Inc. (N.A.B.I.F.I.).
Founded in 1987, NABIFI is an umbrella organization serving as a catalyst to attract industry, expand job opportunities and improve the quality of life in the Neosho, Missouri area.
Grow Neosho is a non-profit organization (501c3) sustained by tax-deductible contributions and managed by a rotating Board of Directors.
Regional partnerships
Grow Neosho works alongside several regional and statewide economic development organizations:
- Hawthorn Foundation — a statewide organization dedicated to economic development across Missouri. Grow Neosho has sponsored two seats on its board.
- MOKAN Partnership — a 501(c)(3) regional partnership founded in 1986, uniting seven counties across southwest Missouri, southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma.
- Harry S Truman Coordinating Council — the regional planning commission for Barton, Jasper, Newton and McDonald counties, headquartered here in Neosho.
