Crowder College Named to USA TODAY's America's Top Vocational Schools 2026
Crowder was one of only two Missouri institutions recognized — and the only public one — on USA TODAY's national list released July 23.
Crowder College has been recognized on USA TODAY's America's Top Vocational Schools 2026 list, announced July 23. Crowder earned a four-out-of-five-star rating and was one of only two institutions in Missouri to be recognized — and the only public institution among them.
The ranking evaluates schools offering vocational training through undergraduate certificates or diplomas across five key performance indicators: graduation rate, graduate salary, years to pay off net price, social mobility, and diversity.
"Community colleges play a unique role by offering both high-quality academic degrees and hands-on technical training," said Dr. Chett Daniel, President of Crowder College.
That combination is exactly what makes Crowder such an asset to employers looking at the Neosho area. The college works directly with industry partners to shape training around what local businesses actually need, so graduates leave with relevant skills, real employment prospects, and without the debt load that follows students out of a four-year program.

Crowder is also a longtime partner of Grow Neosho. The foundation has contributed to the college's MARET Center, and Dr. Daniel serves on the Grow Neosho board of directors.
