La-Z-Boy to Expand in Neosho, Investing $23 Million and Creating Up to 100 Jobs
A manufacturing expansion and a new 150,000-square-foot distribution center for Neosho's largest manufacturing employer — and starting pay at the plant is now $20 an hour.
La-Z-Boy Incorporated will invest $23 million and create up to 100 new jobs in Neosho, through a manufacturing expansion and the construction of a new distribution center. The 150,000-square-foot facility will serve as a centralized distribution hub within the company's U.S. supply chain network.

Neosho is home to one of La-Z-Boy's oldest manufacturing facilities, and the company has been part of the town for more than 50 years. The plant here builds a significant portion of La-Z-Boy's customized furniture.

For this expansion, La-Z-Boy will benefit from the Missouri Works Program, which helps companies expand and retain workers through withholdings or tax credits for job creation. The company is estimated to receive $356,304 through the program, subject to verification of program requirements.
